North Wales Crusaders Rugby League Wheelchair and Disability Sports Association are renewing their request for new trustees.

Established in 2013, the charity provides access to wheelchair rugby league for disabled and non-disabled players, all run by volunteer trustees and coaches with training and matches taking place at Deeside Leisure Centre.

Many of the current squad also represent Wales at international level. The Board of Trustees is looking to appoint new members to assist in the running of the charity – the trustees meet in the evening on 4 days a year and each meeting lasts no  more than a couple of hours.

We would be interested in speaking with anyone with an interest in rugby league and/or disability sports and in particular anyone with accountancy expertise.

The post is purely voluntary and none of the trustees claim expenses but involvement with the charity is rewarding in itself.

Prior to appointment any potential trustee would be required to provide a current clean DBS certificate.
