NORTH WALES CRUSADERS ‘A’ team are looking for a volunteer head coach to take charge of the squad.

With Kris O’Neil having to step down from the position due to personal commitments, the club are now searching for a new head coach.

Following a successful under 18’s season and to aid the continued development of Welsh born players, the North Wales Crusaders A team was formed a few weeks ago to be an integral part of the North Wales Community Rugby League pathway structure.

As part of the team’s governance, a formal management committee has been appointed to oversee and manage all aspects of the Crusaders A team operations.

The team are now seeking to appoint a Head Coach to sit on the management committee and take overall control of the team and its existing coaching staff.

The Crusaders A team Head Coach, will have principal responsibility for coaching and match preparation of the team playing in North West Men’s Division 2.

Player development will obviously be an essential part of the required skill base as the club seeks to introduce a sustainable player development strategy which feeds directly into the Crusaders first team and professional rugby.

A minimum of two years’ experience coaching open age rugby – and performing to a high standard is essential along with a minimum RFL Level Two Coaching Award.

Applicants should be enthusiastic about working in a club environment and continually improving their own coaching skills and that of their assistants including by mentoring.
