FOLLOWING last weekend’s clash against Workington Town being postponed, North Wales Crusaders now turn their attention to this Sunday’s trip to the South Leeds Stadium where they will take on Hunslet RLFC in the Betfred League One.
For both teams it will be their second fixture in their respective 2018 league campaigns, however despite it being early in the season the two points on offer could be crucial come the end of the season.
Both sides will be targeting a top-half finish in the league this year and Sunday’s clash is predicted to be a tight affair.
North Wales Crusaders assistant coach Jonny Leather confirmed that Warren Thompson is unavailable as he recovers from a long-term injury, but aside from Thompson there is a full squad to select from.
Grady On Hunslet:
Looking ahead to Sunday’s fixture, North Wales Crusaders head coach Mike Grady gave his thoughts on Hunslet: “They are a good side and have made some quality signings during the off season.
“We need to start quickly and can’t afford to allow them to get a grip on the game.
“Like us, they’ll want to improve on their performances last season, so we’re in for a tough game and the two points on offer could be big come the end of the season.”
Hunslet play their matches at the South Leeds Stadium. The stadium features one large stand with a bar and hospitality facilities.
