NORTH WALES CRUSADERS ‘A’ team have appointed Matt Robinson as their head coach for the 2018 season.

A statement from the side said: “Matt is a perfect fit to what the club is aiming to achieve and will initially focus on firmly establishing and driving its values and culture. In taking up the appointment, Matt commented “I’m really pleased to have been offered the role with CRU “A” and am very much looking forward to working with the players and existing staff, some of whom I am already familiar with through my involvement with North Wales Origin RL.”

“He has been involved in the amateur game for many years and the committee felt that he had a wealth of experience to steer Crusaders “A” to the next level. Matt’s vision ‘is to develop a resilient team with an attractive style of play, which will enable us to challenge at the top of this league and continue to promote rugby league in North Wales.’

Ian Stapleton will continue to support Matt and the committee would like to thank Ian for ably stepping in to lead the squad over the last few weeks whilst the recruitment was on-going.
