AS revealed in The Crusader matchday magazine, North Wales Crusaders are delighted to confirm that full-back Tommy Johnson has signed a new deal with the club.

The deal sees Johnson commit his future to Crusaders keeping him at the club until the end of the 2019 season.

Johnson becomes the second player to sign for next season joining Kenny Baker, with more to follow over the coming weeks.

On securing Johnson for next season, North Wales Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray said: “I’m really happy to have Tommy signed on for next year.

“He’s a fantastic player, record points scorer and record appearance holder so that gives you some idea of the type of player he is.

“He’ll be an important part of what we’re building for next year, and over the next month or so there will be more announcements to come as we look to retain the majority of the squad for next year and also make some additions.”
